April 4, 2025 Palm Desert, California
HAWK WATCH screening co-hosted with the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA. After the screening, there was a Q&A with the directors of the film and cast Hal Cohen, Tracee Geernaert, Candance Hess, and Kurt Leuschner.
February 19, 2025 Educational Screening
Educational presentation by the leaders of the Hawkwatch, followed by a special screening of the documentary. These students at the Borrego Springs High School are part of an Interpretive Hosting Program. The course is sponsored by the Borrego Village Association. The Hawkwatch leaders are looking forward to having the class visit the count site in March and witness the migration in person.

Great panel about Hawks at the Borrego Springs Branch Library last weekend. Thank you to the Wildlife Research Institute, the Rangers at County of San Diego Parks and Recreation and the Borrego Springs Film Festival for bringing this educational and fun event to the community.

Gearing up for the 2025 Hawk Watch season with the "Journey of the Swainson’s Hawk" talk on Friday, January 10th at the Anza-Borrego Desert Natural History Association, presented by Hal Cohen, founder of Borrego Valley Hawk Watch.
